Types of Semi-Permanent Make up

Microblading

Microblading | Eyecandy Lash and Brow Bar

When you come to Eye Candy, you can be assured that all pigments we use are from Phibrow, the guru company that is known for creating microblading techniques. It helps prevent the brow color turning bluish or reddish - like what clients often see on the tattooed brow who used metal-contained pigment.

Ombre Shading or Powdered brow

Ombre shading is the technique where we use pigment to powder your brow with multi-layering to create pixel for your brow. This method mimics the look  of powder brow and give more definition on the outlining. This will be more suitable for clients who have thick brows and oily skin type.

When it comes to ombre shading, Eyecandy will map the shape by thread and pencil to make sure the client is happy first before we start the treatment.

Similar with Microblading, the pigment we use at EyeCandy Lash & Brow are always high quality like Phibrow and Tina Davies. We always show our clients the products we use to make sure they feel safe with us and our service.

Ombre Shading | Powdered Brow | Micro Needling | Lip Blush | Ombre & Powdered Brow

This look has become a client-favorite and trending go-to style this year. Combo microshading is the process of combining hair stroke and powder look in one treatment.

If microblading is suitable for normal skin, ombre shading is suitable for oily skin, this combo will serve is suitable for all skin types.

We can also make adjustments based on the client's preference. If he/she wants more hairstroke (for client who want supernatural but still need shading to add on definition on the empty spot) or he/she can choose more define on outlining to create more powder and trendy look.

Combo Microshading

Lip Blushing

semi permanent tattooing method designed to boost the natural color and shape of your lips for one to two years.

Using a method called pixelating and feathering, the aesthetician deposits small, undetectable dots of pigment to line and shade.

The result is a color that looks as if it could be your own—but with a boost (and a more pronounced shape).

Now performed by aestheticians rather than traditional tattoo artists (as it was in decades past), it uses organic pigments and modern, digital tools that feature several needle configurations instead of one harsh setting.

While there's no downtime for this treatment (you can shower and wash your face the same day, as long as you slather on a coat of Aquaphor), it takes about four to seven days to heal completely. Please note that  lips would dramatically darken post-treatment. During the healing process, the excess color  will flake off  which explains the temporary change. It took about 4-8 weeks to see the best result.

We want to emphasize that this technique will not give you a dramatic change in your lip color in 1 session, it is meant to be subtle - which only change about a couple shades at most. However, for client with dark lip and light to change the color, we can add on color correction to enhance the treatment.

+ What do you do in microblading/ombreshading/ combo brow ?

We always start with thread mapping to make sure client happy with the shape and numbing is always applied to give client the mot comfort level.

+ Is touch up included?

We notice that about 65 % of client need to comeback for touch up so we do not want to pricing our service included touch up which will not be right for client who doesn't need a 6 week touch up . Because of that we decide to not include touch up in our price

+ How much experience your PMU artist have?

EyeCandy also certifies PMU artists in microblading and ombre shading. All of our PMU artist will be categorized in 3 level

If a client has very minimal hair and wants to add a full, defined brow , she would need at least a royal or master artist but if clients only need to add on some to make the brow look fuller , we would say a junior artist is great enough. Because of this , we again highly recommend client at least have a conversation with the PMU artist they plan to make appointment with so they can have more undertandbout about skill and portfolios they have .

+ What do I need to prep before a lip blushing appointment?

We would advice client to avoid taking vitamins, fish oil, aspirin or any supplements the day before appointment to prevent the possibility of bruising and bleeding . Pregnant and breast feeding women cannot be a candidate for any semi-permanent make up procedure.
